8th Grade Celebration
Tuesday, May 21, 2024
5:00 – 7:00 PM, Rain or Shine
Families are welcome!
As if the last day of 8th grade couldn’t get any better, we’ll spend the evening celebrating your 8th graders’ hard work with a big party! We will have food trucks and many photo opportunities available. There will not be a formal ceremony. What Would Cheesus Do? and Rebel Cookie Dough Confections will be on site for dinner and sweet treats. 8th grade students will eat for free; families may purchase dinner and/or dessert. We want this to be an evening of celebration and save the formal graduation ceremony for high school and beyond.
8th Grade Important News
8th Grade Lunch, Tuesday May 21st from 1-2pm
Donation Signup Link: 8th Grade Lunch Signup
The school has agreed to let us have a little afternoon fun on Tuesday May 21st (last day for our 8th graders). We need your help to make this happen. We have 80 graduating 8th graders and we were thinking about Chick-fil-a for the students - 12 count nuggets and a bag of chips per student OR cheese pizza and a bag of chips for those students who would prefer a veg option. If your student would need more food, please supplement it with something from home.
If we can get at a minimum $15 per student, that should cover what we need to purchase and make this happen. If we collect more money than needed for the meals, we will add a dessert as well.
This will take place during their regular lunch hour from 1-2pm, after which is their field day.
Please help make this a fun afternoon for our students, some of whom have been together for 10 years (including one year at KP). Again, the link to donate and make this event happen is: 8th Grade Lunch Signup
