Families of 8th-grade students are invited to submit their yearbook dedications and photos for the 2025–2026 yearbook. This is a special opportunity to celebrate your student and commemorate their final year at American Academy.

All 8th-grade dedications, photos and payment must be submitted by March 6th. The email will include full details on how to submit and what to include. Be sure to check your inbox (and spam folder) so you don’t miss this opportunity.

ALL STUDENTS:

Please dress neatly and refrain from wearing anything with a high neckline to ensure the best results. We ask that students wear a white top, and blue jeans for this photo. Boys must wear a white collared shirt. Students must follow Dress of Choice guidelines.

 

Parents will have the convenience of viewing and purchasing photos online. Within 10 working days after picture day, an instruction flyer will be sent home with your student, providing all the details on how to access and order he photos. All photos will be shipped directly to your home via USPS for your convenience.

As if the last day of 8th grade couldn't get any better, we'll spend the evening celebrating your 8th graders' hard work with a big party! We will have food trucks and many photo opportunities available. There will not be a formal ceremony. What Would Cheesus Do? and Rebel Cookie Dough Confections will be on site for dinner and sweet treats. 8th grade students will eat for free; families may purchase dinner and/or dessert. We want this to be an evening of celebration and save the formal graduation ceremony for high school and beyond.

 

 

We are hoping you and your family will join us for our Motsenbocker 8TH Grade Celebration on Tuesday, May 19th, from 5PM to 7PM, rain or shine. We will be putting together a slideshow that will be playing in our gymnasium.

If you would like to submit photos of your student, one as a young child and a current photo, we would be happy to include your student in our slideshow. Please email your student's photos to Angela Criscolo

The majority of this 8th grade class has been together since Kindergarten. We want to give them an opportunity to just be with each other outside of school. 8th graders will spend the day at Edge Zipline Adventures in Castle Rock. Students will need to be dropped off and picked up from the location. Students must bring a water bottle and sack lunch. More information will be provided soon.
