High School Resources

We are honored to have had the opportunity to help your student establish a sound academic foundation during their time at American Academy. Our hope is that your student will continue to build upon this foundation and strive for academic excellence as they further their educational experience and transition to high school.

Though American Academy does not endorse any particular high school, our students are very fortunate to have many wonderful public and private high school options in the area. We occasionally receive information about enrollment and events from these high schools. When we do, for the convenience of our American Academy families, we will post that information here. Please visit this page regularly if you are interested in that information.

Please view information and resources we receive from the high schools below .

ST. MARY'S ACADEMY

Greetings from Denver's Premier All-Girls High School

On behalf of all of us at St. Mary's Academy, we invite you to join us on campus this fall! Whether you have already begun thinking about high school or are still savoring the last of summer, we would be honored to be included in your upcoming high school search. There are many reasons to consider an all-girls high school.

According to a UCLA report, female graduates of single-sex high schools demonstrate stronger academic orientation, higher levels of engagement, higher SAT scores, confidence in math, and are measurably more confident in public speaking. As a mother of two SMA High School graduates, I can share my experience as a parent and an Admissions Director. I look forward to getting to know your family as the admissions process gets underway.

In the meantime, please feel free to register for the High School Placement Test at SMA in December and contact me at your leisure if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you at an admissions event soon!

Sincerely,

Seely Meredith
Director of Admissions & Financial Aid
