There are a few changes to the structure of STEM this year. Your student will have STEM for half of the trimester. Their science class will be divided into two groups and half of the students will be in science while the other half is in STEM. Each group will have both individual and partner assignments to deepen their understanding of coding, robotics, and the Engineering Design Process. What an exciting opportunity to have small class sizes for more small group teaching and in-depth discovery!
Fourth grade will have STEM during trimester 1 (September 5-November 17)
-The first unit will be with the Lego EV3 Robots and will focus on coding
-The second unit will be Sphero and will focus on sensors
