The American Academy PTO Board at Mostenbocker is proud and excited to support the teachers, staff, parents, and students of Motsenbocker. The 2026-2027 Elected Board Members
Jenna Wilton - Co-President
Jenna grew up in Buena Vista, CO, and holds a business degree from Colorado State University. She keeps busy working in the insurance industry and chasing after her three kids. This is her third year on the PTO and her fifth year as a parent at American Academy, where she has actively volunteered and served as a room mom. Jenna is passionate about contributing to the school community and is excited to continue to bring her experience and enthusiasm to the PTO. In her free time, she enjoys weightlifting and spending time outdoors.

Andrea Yerkes - Co-President
Andrea was born and raised in Ohio where she attended THE Ohio State University studying Strategic Communications. Andrea’s husband Geoff was active duty in the Army which brought them to CO. They have been in CO since 2013 but in Parker since 2019 where they are raising their two AA kiddos- Lincoln (3rd grade) and London (1st Grade). This is Andrea’s fourth year on the PTO having previously served as the social chair. She’s excited to make the 2026/2027 a memorable one! During the day, Andrea works as a Talent Acquisition Manager for a large Aerospace and Defense contractor. And if she gets any free time, she enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, reading, crafts and making custom cookies!

Amy Delphia - Marketing Co-Chair
Amy is a Colorado native, born and raised in Highlands Ranch. She went to Colorado State University, where she met her husband. They’ve been in Parker for over 10 years and have twins in 1st grade at American Academy. During the day, Amy is the Director of Training and Development for a Philadelphia based marketing agency. When she’s not working, she enjoys reading, being active, and spending time with her family. Amy is looking forward to her third year on the PTO!

Jessica Donley - Marketing Co-Chair
Jessica was born in Florida and moved to Colorado to attend school, where she has lived ever since. She attended Metropolitan State University and is now the Director of Customer Success at Quandary Consulting Group. She is also the founder and president of J|B Box, a nonprofit supporting individuals with chronic illnesses. Her daughter, Maxine, is in her third year at AA, and being part of the PTO is a meaningful way to support her school community. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys traveling, reading, and camping with her husband and daughter.
 
Celia Harris - Room Parent Coordinator
Celia comes from a military family and lived in many states throughout the US. Most of her younger years were spent in Albuquerque, NM and came to Colorado for college. She got her Bachelors degree in Mathematics from Regis University and later got her Masters degree in Mathematics from UNC. Celia has been a teacher since 2009 and is currently teaching math at Legend High School. Celia and her husband Creyton moved to Parker in 2012 shortly after getting married. They have 2 kids that both attend American Academy Motsenbocker since 2019. Both kids started at AA in the Kindie prep program. Celia joined the PTO in the room parent coordinator role in the fall of 2024 and looks forward to many more opportunities to support the teachers and families!

Ashley Teudean - Teacher Appreciation Chair
This is Ashley's second year on the PTO. This school year, Ashley will be focusing on bringing personalized recognition to the teachers throughout the year and to ensure our teachers are well fed.  Ashley has a 5th grade daughter, Alexa, at American Academy. Ashley is a CPA and works at KPMG, LLP as a Director in the Risk Management - Systems of Quality Controls Group. After growing up in Kansas, she attended the University of Louisville, where she was on the swim team, and moved to Colorado in 2013. In her spare time she enjoys mountain biking, watching TV, and white water rafting.

Kelly Sammis - Social Co-Chair
Kelly grew up in the midwest and has two children at American Academy. Hudson, who is in 3rd grade, and Luna, who is in 1st grade, who have been attending AAMB since Kindie Prep. This is Kelly’s first year serving on the PTO as Co-Social Chair after spending the past four years as the room parent for her children’s grade levels.During the day, Kelly works as a physical therapist, educator and business owner. She is excited to take on a new role within the school community and help plan fun, memorable events for American Academy students and families. When she isn’t working, volunteering, or keeping up with her kids’ busy schedules, Kelly enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and getting outside to golf, snowboard and hike.

Erin O'Connor - Social Co-Chair
Erin O’Connor and her husband, Kyle, are proud parents of Kellan (4th) Peyton (1st). Since joining the AA community in Kindie Prep, their family has enjoyed being actively involved at the school through volunteering, classroom support, and school events. Erin has served as a room mom for several years and is excited to join the PTO Social Committee to help strengthen connections among AA families and create memorable experiences for students. Originally from Dallas, Erin has loved exploring Colorado with her family since moving here in 2016. When she’s not volunteering, Erin tries to keep up with all of the kiddos extracurriculars, works in the insurance industry, enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Stephanie Lawler - Social Committee
Stephanie grew up surrounded by the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona, before heading to the University of Arizona to earn her degree in Business Communications. These days, her favorite title is “Mom” to Clara, her spunky second grader at American Academy. When she’s not cheering on Clara, you can usually find Stephanie on the pickleball court, planning her next adventure, or laughing with family and friends. She believes life is best lived with good people, great memories, and just a little bit of sunshine
 
Emily McConnell - Fall Fundraising
Emily grew up in Colorado and has two children at American Academy. Henry in 4th grade and Laurel in 3rd grade have both attended since Kindie Prep. This is Emily’s first year on the PTO supporting the fundraising efforts after spending several years as a room parent. Outside of school activities, Emily works in corporate communications and shuttles kids to their activities. She enjoys spending time with family, skiing, reading and avoiding snakes on the Parker incline.

Trista Oakley- Spring Fundraising
This is Trista's third year on the PTO, where she has previously supported the Treasurer and is now adding in Fundraising. She has three kids currently at AAMB, Isabelle in 5th grade, Zackary in 3rd, and Brealyn in KindiePrep. In her free time when she isn't working her full-time job, she enjoys getting outside, working out, reading, traveling and all things family related!

Heidi Robinson Aguirre - Outreach
I grew up in Greenwood, Indiana, and have called Colorado home for the past 13 years.  After a rewarding career in healthcare, I recently retired and am enjoying a new chapter as a stay-at-home mom to my daughter, Nora, who is in the third grade.  As a family, we love to travel and explore new places together.  In my spare time, you'll find me organizing, reading, baking, gardening, hiking, and spending time outdoors.  This is my first year serving on the PTO, and I'm excited to learn more, get involved, and support our school community in a meaningful way.

Laura Young - Treasurer
This is Laura's fifth year on the PTO. This school year, Laura will continue her role as Treasurer of the AAMB PTO. Laura has a 7th grade daughter Amelia and 5th grade son Owen at American Academy. Laura is a CPA and owns her own consulting business, specializing in Technical and Transaction Accounting in the Oil and Gas Business. When not at a youth sporting event or performance, Laura can be found watching Ohio State Football or out walking her dog Bella.

Mary McDaniel - Assistant Treasurer
Mary is originally from Albuquerque, NM, but has lived in Colorado for the past 14 years. Mary has three kiddos - a son who is in first grade at American Academy, a daughter who is in 4-year-old Kindie Prep program, and a 6-month-old little girl. Mary works as a Nurse Educator for the Ambulatory clinics at UCHealth and is in the process of opening KidStrong franchises with her husband Doug. When Mary is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and her two golden retriever puppies. This is Mary's second year on the PTO and she is looking forward to getting to know the AA community!
 
Kayla Wilton - Uniform Resale 
Kayla is a Colorado native and attended CSU in Fort Collins for both her undergrad and graduate programs where she met her now husband. They have been in the Parker/Castle Rock area for 16 years, have 2 daughters, a son, a Golden Mountain dog and she is the Head of Human Resources for a retail company headquartered in Denver. This is her first year on the PTO but third year as an American Academy mom, serving as a room parent in Kindergarten for her oldest daughter and KP-3s for her son last year. Kayla enjoys spending nights and weekend at the field or gym for the kids, hiking, working out and heading to the mountains at their family cabin in Steamboat. Kayla’s excited to continue her school community involvement as part of the PTO!
 
Darcy Ottoson - Secretary
Darcy was born and raised in Colorado and studied Nutrition at Colorado State University. She is a Registered Dietitian and also helps run her family business, Pink’s Windows. Darcy and Mitch are high school sweethearts and are proud parents to three kiddos, Ellie (1st grade), Beckham (Kindieprep 4), and Emma (future AA student 😊). In her rare moments of free time, Darcy enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time outdoors with friends and family.
