Constitution Day commemorates the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution by thirty-nine brave men on September 17, 1787, recognizing all who are born in the U.S. or by naturalization, have become citizens. (http://www.constitutionday.com/).
We will celebrate Constitution Day as a school on September 17th.
Students throughout the building will be participating in activities in their classrooms. Students are welcome to wear red, white, and blue shirts with uniform bottoms to school. Please remember, this is a day to celebrate our nation’s history and unity — so while patriotic colors are encouraged, political attire or campaign-related items will not be allowed.
We love to highlight Constitution Day by teaching our students about the historical significance through the use of exciting lessons.
We are proud to celebrate our U.S. Constitution!
