The American Academy PTO Board at Mostenbocker is proud and excited to support the teachers, staff, parents, and students of Motsenbocker. We are successful because of the participation and involvement from our American Academy community. Below you will find a list of all PTO Board Meetings. Please feel free to attend to learn more.
PTO Board Meeting Calendar
Included below are the dates, times, and locations of our meetings. This year we are also offering a virtual, call-in meeting through the Zoom technology. This means you can attend the meeting from anywhere! Details for calling in to the meeting can be found below.

The 2023-2024 Elected Board Members
Laura Young - Vice-President
This is Laura's second year on the PTO. As Vice President, she will be focusing this year on teacher appreciation and fundraising events. Laura has a 4th grade daughter Amelia and 2nd grade son Owen at American Academy. Laura is a CPA and owns her own consulting business. When not at a youth sporting event, Laura can be found watching Ohio State Football or out walking her dog Bella.

This is Laura's second year on the PTO. As Vice President, she will be focusing this year on teacher appreciation and fundraising events. Jackie Matlick - Secretary
Jackie was born and raised in Iowa. After receiving her BA at the University of Iowa, this diehard Hawkeye fan moved to Colorado with her husband, Zach, in 2005. They have 2 sons, Zander who was part of the first kindiprep class at AAMB and now attends CEC Parker as a freshman and Xavier who is currently in 4th grade at AA. Jackie works as a Senior Sales and Marketing Manager at The Acosta group. Outside of work she sits as chairperson to the Social Committee in their new neighborhood and enjoys reading, hiking, spending time with her boys and entertaining guests in their home. Jackie started on the PTO back in 2018 as chairperson for the Holiday Boutique and has spent the last 2 years on the board as Social VP.

Alison Berlau - Marketing
This is Alison's second year on the PTO helping out with events and handling the marketing and communications. She has two daughter at AA - Evie is in 3rd grade and Ana is a 1st grader. For her day job, she works as a marketing developer for Naked Wines. She went to CU Boulder and is really enjoying watching the CU football games this year - GO BUFFS!

Katelyn Abro - Treasurer
Katelyn was born and raised in Massachusetts and received both her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Accounting from Virginia Tech. She moved to Colorado 7 years ago with her husband, Corey. This is her first year on the PTO and first year at American Academy as well! Katelyn has two sons at AA - Luca is in kindergarten and Cameron is in 1st grade. Katelyn works in venture capital fund administration during the day and is excited to get to know the AA community!
